A fire broke out in a single-storey shanty house on Turgut Akan Okulu Street in Kazım Karabekir Paşa Neighbourhood, Sarıyer. The Fire Department was called at 08:32 and fire crews from Sarıyer, Maden and Hacıosman stations attended the incident along with paramedics. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze. While the fire resulted in damage to the shanty house, no one was injured or dead.
