A fire broke out in a workplace on the ground floor of a six-storey building on Tiryaki Hasan Paşa Street in Aksaray Neighbourhood, Aksaray. The Fire Department was called at 10:30 and fire crews from Fatih, Beyoğlu and Kocamustafapaşa stations attended the incident along with paramedics. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze and rescued two people affected by smoke. While the fire resulted in damage to the workplace, no one was dead.
