IMM took the new year's eve measures31 December 2018 Monday

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality took measures to ensure a smooth year for citizens. 277 municipal police will serve all night across the city, mainly in Taksim, Besiktaş, Kadıköy. Fire Department and health personnel of IMM will make additional work. IETT will make 665 additional travels in 20 routes. Metro and Marmaray will work until 02:00. The working hours of the City Lines were also extended.

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality took the necessary measures for the New Year's Eve. In order not to have any problems, the municipal police, the fire department and the health personnel will work extra nights. Metro, Metrobus and IETT lines will make organize additional travels.

FIRE AND HEALTH PERSONNEL WILL BE ON THE ALERT
Fire Department and health personnel of IMM will make additional work. Teams will be vigilant against any emergency. IMM AKOM, which works on a 7/24 basis, took special measures for New Year's Eve. In this context, staff from the fire department, municipal police, IGDAŞ, ISKI, IETT, METRO ISTANBUL, Waste Management Directorate, Road Maintenance and Infrastructure, Directorate of Enterprises, Directorate of Traffic and Public Relations Directorate will be in charge of AKOM headquarters.

THE ENTERTAINMENT SPACES WILL BE CONTROLLED TO NOISE POLLUTION
IMM Directorate of Municipal Police completed preparations for additional measures on the new year's eve programs in popular places such as Taksim, Galata, Beşiktaş, Mecidiyeköy and Kadıköy. According to this, 277 municipal police personnel will serve as 69 separate teams on New Year's Eve. 10 different towing teams will be deployed at critical points in order to prevent traffic interruption. Decibel inspections will be made against noise pollution in entertainment venues.

IETT WILL MAKE 665 EXTRA TRAVELS
IETT will organize additional travels until the new year's night to prevent the traffic problems across Istanbul. 127 vehicles and 665 additional travels were added to 20 routes including the metrobus lines. Bus routes and additional information about the time of the travels will be available at www.iett.istanbul or from the hat MOBİETT application.

THE WORKING HOURS OF METRO, MARMARAY AND CITY LINES ARE EXTENDED
All the metro lines across the city of Istanbul and Marmaray will work until 02:00. Ships of the City Lines will also make additional travels. Mutual travels in Kadıköy-Karaköy line will continue until 01:00. The last ship will depart hour from Beşiktaş Pier at Beşiktaş-Kadıköy line at 23.45. The last ferry will depart from Kadıköy Pier at 23.15. The last ferry from Eminönü Pier at the Eminönü-Kadıköy line will depart at 22.30 and from Kadıköy Pier at 22.00.

VISITING THE FIRST BABIES OF THE NEW YEAR
The number of personnel of ☎ 153 White Desk Call Center will be increased on New Year's Eve. On-site solution teams will be on duty against any problems. IMM Public Relations teams will pay morale visits to doctors, medical staff and patients at hospitals. They will present gifts to the first babies of the new year.
