A fire broke out in a workplace on the ground floor of a five-storey building on Çağdaş Street in Tahtakale Neighbourhood, Avcılar. The Fire Department was called at 13:22 and fire crews from Avcılar, Esenyurt and Bağcılar stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze and evacuated 8 people trapped on upper floors. While the fire resulted in damage to the workplace, no one injured or dead.
