A fire broke out in the basement-floor flat of a four-storey building on Üveyik Street in Necip Fazıl Kısakürek Neighbourhood, Esenyurt. The Fire Department was called at 15:57 and fire crews from Beylikdüzü and Kıraç stations attended the incident along with paramedics. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze and rescued 15 people trapped on upper floors. Then they were delivered over to paramedics.
