Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality continues its efforts to ensure that Istanbulites have a safe and peaceful holiday. Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Secretary General Hayri Baraçlı visited the employees who were at work on the day of the arefe. Baraçlı, chatting with employees, took pictures of memories. He congratulated the employees of the Metro Istanbul on the radio and wished happy bairam to them.

Baraçlı, which started his visits with Cebeci public Bread Factory located in Sultangazi, visited Kartal Igdaş Regional Directorate, Kartal IETT Garaj Amirliği, Kartal Halk Bread Factory, IMM additional service building (Municapal Police, Road Maintenance and Repair Directorate, Traffic Directorate), Kartal İSKİ Branch, IETT Anatolian Garage, Esenkent Metro Anatolian Side Control Center, Maltepe İSTAÇ Regional Directorate, Maltepe Fire Station, Karacahmet Cemeteries and Üsküdar Doğancılar Fire Station.

Baraçlı, giving advice to employees about the holiday, “today is the arefe day, the last day of Ramadan. Let's make our children happy tomorrow. Our children are our future. Make an effort to raise our children in a good way. Let's give our children little presents, win hearts. Let's end our resentment on the holidays. Acording to our religion, within the institution and among the relatives, the resentment should not exceed 3 days, he says, Let's abolish our resentment this feast. Let's not neglect our parents, let's spare them time.Let's kiss the hands of elderly ones. We should visit the elderly and our patients.”

Baraçlı noted that there is a service mentality that has been going on for 25 years in Istanbul and continued as follows: “May Allah let us have continuity in the service race. In our future, let our children take care of our grandchildren and give services to IMM when necessary. In 2023, 2053 and 2071, it is necessary for our country to be one of the most important countries in the world, and we should serve the whole world. This is a feast of fraternity and peace.
