A fire occurred in Başıbüyük Forest in Başıbüyük Neighborhood in Maltepe. Upon the notices received at around 16:12, our fire station teams in Maltepe, Ataşehir, Ümraniye, Büyükbakkalköy, Kartal, Sultanbeyli, Kadıköy, Orhanlı, Kavacık, Erenköy, Sancaktepe, Şişli, Pendik were dispatched to the scene. The fire was extinguished as a result of the work carried out with 29 vehicles and 87 personnel and the teams of the Regional Directorate of Forestry also supported from the air.

No injuries or casualties were experienced in the incident where material damage occurred.
