A fire broke out within and on the roof of Metrocity Shopping Center located on Büyükdere Road in Esentepe Neighbourhood, Şişli. Upon the notifications received at around 12:45, our fire teams from Seyrantepe, Beşiktaş, Şişli, Beyoğlu, Bakırköy, Sultangazi, Hacıosman, Başakşehir, Kadıköy, Kavacık, Fatih, Davutpaşa and Çavuşbaşı stations were dispatched to the scene along with 112 medical emergency ambulance teams. The fire was brought under control as a result of the work carried out by our teams, who reached the scene in a short time, with 51 vehicles and 145 personnel.

In the incident, where cooling works continue, no information on casualties or injuries has been reached so far.
