A total of 49 dogs and 42 trainers participated in the Wilderness Search and Debris Search exams. Istanbul Fire Department K9 chief Fırat Bürçün and his dog Juilet achieved 2nd place in the Nature Search V test. In addition to AKUT volunteers and the dogs of the Istanbul Fire Department, fire departments across Turkey, municipalities and other NGOs as well as two separate teams from Russia participated in the exam.
