A collapse incident occurred in a 3-storey building located on Geçit Street on Belediye Road in Kartaltepe District of Küçükçekmece. Upon notifications received at around 08:43, Sefaköy, Bahçelievler, Küçükçekmece, Avcılar, Bakırköy, Şişli, Fatih, Mahmutbey fire teams, K9 dog search and rescue team and 112 emergency medical crews were dispatched to the scene. Our teams arrived at the scene in a short time and started their work quickly with 10 vehicles and 56 personnel. As a result of sensitive rescue operations, 8 of our citizens who were trapped under the rubble were rescued with injuries, while the lifeless body of one of our citizens was found. A judicial investigation was initiated by the relevant authorities regarding the issue.
