Istanbul Fire Department increased its ability to respond to incidents with the new ambulances, fire trucks, ladders and water supply vehicles it added to its fleet. While the total number increased to 970 with the 134 vehicles purchased, the fleet age was reduced from 16 to 12. The new vehicles were introduced to the public in the program attended by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality President Ekrem İmamoğlu. After the speeches, İmamoğlu took a souvenir photo with CHP Istanbul Provincial Chairman Özgür Çelik and invited protocol members. İmamoğlu sent the vehicles exhibited after the program to their places of duty.
