In the training held at Boğaziçi University, the structure and development of fire, fire extinguishing agents, rescue equipment information, techniques for carrying injured people in debris, urban search and rescue were explained to the trainees theoretically and practically.

In the application phase of the training, which is based on minimizing the injuries and loss of life that may occur after a disaster such as a fire or earthquake, training activities were carried out for the coordination, logistics and intervention processes of the teams in the earthquake debris area created in conditions that resemble the real ones.
