The International Firefighters World Championship held in China has concluded12 September 2024 Thursday

The 19th Men's and 10th Women's Fire and Rescue Sports World Championships held in Harbin, People's Republic of China, between 5th and 11th September 2024, have been concluded.

Our country has been participating in this organization since 2011, and previously Antalya and İzmir cities hosted it. After 2015, the championship, which was attended by the women athletes of the İzmir Fire Department, was organized in İstanbul in 2023, hosted by IMM.

In this year's competitions; Emin Yıldız, Furkan Sezgin, Yücel Belin, Harun Tabas broke the Turkish record in the 4x100-meter relay race with a time of 64:13 seconds, and Ceyda Cırık broke the Turkish record in the women's 100-meter race with a time of 19:39 seconds.
