In the earthquake that was assumed to have occurred on Tuesday, February 4 at 13:30, the debris of a building that was going to be demolished for urban transformation in the Zühtüpaşa neighborhood was used. The locations of the victims, who were created and placed in the debris as required by the scenario, were hidden and thus a search and rescue operation close to reality began. Istanbul AFAD Search and Rescue Unit Directorate, Kadıköy Municipality Urban Search and Rescue Team (BAK-Kadıköy), Neighborhood Disaster Volunteers Emergency Response Team (MAG-AME), Marmara University Search and Rescue Team (MÜSAR) and Istanbul Fire Department K-9 Dog Search and Rescue Team and Istanbul Fire Department Anatolian Side Heavy Urban Search and Rescue Team participated in the drill.
