Eminönü fire team responded to the fire after receiving reports at around 12:36. Fatih and Bakırköy fire teams were also dispatched to the area as support. The fire was brought under control in a short time as a result of the teams' efforts.

While there were no casualties or injuries in the fire, material damage occurred in the attic. While cooling efforts continue, an investigation has been launched into the cause of the fire.
