Container fire in Tuzla25 February 2026 Wednesday

A fire broke out in the containers where workers were staying at a private construction site located on Tuna Street in Aydınlı Neighborhood.

Upon receiving reports around 10:20, fire teams from Orhanlı, Tuzla, Tuzla OSB, Pendik, Sultanbeyli, Büyükbakkalköy, Kartal, Ümraniye, Maltepe, Çekmeköy, Dudullu, Şişli, and Kadıköy stations were dispatched to the scene. The teams arrived quickly and, thanks to their intervention, the fire was brought under control and extinguished. Seven people who were trapped were rescued by our teams and handed over to medical personnel. While there was material damage, no fatalities occurred.
