A fire broke out in a wooded and grassy area in the Karakiraz District of Beykoz. Following reports received around 15:48, fire teams from Bozhane, Çekmeköy, Şile, Beykoz, Sancaktepe, Sultanbeyli, Çavuşbaşı, Ümraniye, Kartal, İstinye, Kadıköy, Şişli, Mahmutbey, Tuzla, Üsküdar, and Maltepe stations were dispatched to the scene along with the Şile forestry team and district municipality water tankers. Our fire teams responded with 36 vehicles and 104 personnel. Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) ISKI (Water and Sewerage Administration) and Road Maintenance crews also provided support with their vehicles. IMM Deputy Mayor Nuri Aslan received information from our regional directors and inspected the fire site. Thanks to the intensive efforts of our teams, the fire was brought under control and extinguished.
