Ship fire in Tuzla9 May 2026 Saturday
A fire broke out in the steering room of a dry cargo ship undergoing maintenance at a private shipyard located on Tersaneler Street in Evliya Celebi Neighborhood.
Upon receiving reports around 16:37, fire teams from Tuzla, Pendik, Tuzla Coastal, Kartal, Orhanlı, and Sultanbeyli stations were dispatched to the scene. Thanks to the swift intervention of the teams, the fire was brought under control and extinguished. While there was material damage, no injuries or fatalities occurred.
