A Meaningful Visit to Istanbul Governor Mr. Davut Gül During Firefighters' Week23 September 2026 Wednesday
As part of the events marking the 312th anniversary of our organization, we visited our Governor, Mr. Davut Gül, at his office with a delegation comprising our Deputy Secretary General Erdal Celal Aksoy, Head of the Fire Department Remzi Albayrak, and our regional directors.
On the occasion of the 312th anniversary of our fire department, Istanbul Governor Mr. Davut Gül received a delegation comprising Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Secretary General Erdal Celal Aksoy, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Head of Fire Department Remzi Albayrak, and accompanying regional fire directors.
Our Head of Fire Department provided a briefing to the Governor, who expressed his pleasure at the visit and extended his congratulations to the firefighters on Firefighters' Week. Following the visit, the Governor once again congratulated the fire department—whose members perform their duties with great dedication—on Firefighters' Week and wished them continued success.
