The Istanbul Fire Department non-stop continues with educational work initiated with the aim of creating public awareness for disaster in every segment of society. 52 kids from Minik Yetenekler Kindergarten visited the Training Centre of Istanbul Fire Department (a.k.a. İBİTEM). In the first part of the course, they were taught about fires, causes of fires and correct behaviours during fires and disasters. In the second part, the students wearing training clothes conducted a fire drill. They accomplished the drill in which fire models and water extinguishers were used. The kids, enjoying their time in the station as well as learning essential things, had the chance to see the fire engines in Istanbul Fire Department closer. The training course ended with souvenir photos taken together.
