A fire broke out in the third-floor flat of a five-storey building on Öğüt Street in Şehit Muhtar Neighbourhood, Beyoğlu. The Fire Department was called at 23:03 and firefighters from Beyoğu station attended the incident. The fire crew, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze. They rescued four people and passed them to paramedics. The fire resulted in damage to the building.
