A three-day course of "Fire & Safety" training was given to the academic staff and administrative personnel of Istanbul Technical University. The course, starting on 02/03/2016, finished on 04/03/2016. The trainees were taught about propriate behaviours against fires, fire structure and development, LPG and natural gas knowledge, hazards on fire scene on the first day of the course; extinguishing agents and using techniques, fire safety precautions on the second day; organization of emergency team formation, raising awareness with mobile tarining vehicles on the third day. The training ended with "search & rescue in fire" and "fire extinguishing" drills.
