Fire & safety training and drills continue non-stop11 March 2016 Friday
The Istanbul Fire Department non-stop continues with educational work initiated with the aim of creating public awareness for disaster in every segment of society.
Istanbul Fire Department gave a course on fire & safety to public bodies and industrial enterprise. The training lasted three days which were 08-09-10 March 2016. The lessons carried out in the training are as follows:
- Fire structure and development, knowledge of LPG and natural gas, hazards on scenes (on the first day)
- Extinguishing agents and usage techniques, fire safety precautions (on the second day)
- Organising an emergency response team (on the third day)
On 10 and 11 March 2016, a course on fire definition, usage techniques of fire extinguishers and techniques of responding to fire was carried out for the participants from the Social Care Center of Bağcılar Municipality.
The courses ended with fire drills.
