Three-day fire and safety training at Haseki Training and Research Hospital
The Istanbul Fire Department raises awareness in citizens with correct information on proper actions and proper responses against fires. Within this scope, 47 employees of Haseki Training and Research Hospital received a three-day course on fire and safety from 14 March 2016 to 16 March 2016. The lessons carried out in the training are as follows:
- Fire structure and development, knowledge of LPG and natural gas, hazards on scenes (on the first day)
- Extinguishing agents and usage techniques, fire safety precautions (on the second day)
- Organising an emergency response team (on the third day)
The training ended with search & rescue and fire drills on the last day of the training course. Also on the same dates, 138 trainees from industrial enterprises were taught on fire & safety and had a raising awareness activity in mobile training vehicles.
