The Istanbul Fire Department completed a three-day "fire and safety" training course at Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Training and Research Hospital. Within this scope, 40 employees from the hospital started to be trained from 16 March 2016 to 18 March 2016. The lessons carried out in the training are as follows:

• Fire structure and development, knowledge of LPG and natural gas, hazards on scenes (on the first day)
• Extinguishing agents and usage techniques, fire safety precautions (on the second day)
• Organising an emergency response team (on the third day)

The training ended with search & rescue and fire drills on the last day of the training course.

Also on the same dates, 35 trainees from industrial enterprises had a three-day "fire and extinguishing drill" in Resneli Training Center.
