A fire broke out in a derelict shanty house on Kırbaş Street in Yenidoğan Neighbourhood, Gaziosmanpaşa. The Fire Department was called at 13:32 and fire crews from Eyüp and Alibeyköy stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze and prevented it from spreading to adjoining buildings. It was brought under control at around 15:58. While the fire resulted in damage to the shanty house, no one was injured or dead.
