A fire broke out in a dry food warehouse on the 2nd Road in Ümraniye Organized Industrail Site. The Fire Department was called at 18:11 and fire crews from Dudullu, Ümraniye, Kayışdağı, Yenidoğan, Kartal, Kadıköy, Kurtköy, Çavuşbaşı, Yakacık, Büyükbakkalköy, Şişli, Seyrantepe, Üsküdar, Orhanlı, Yenişehir, Başakşehir, Pendik, Bakırköy and Tuzla stations attended the incident. Also the fire helicopter called "Flame Eagle" responded to the fire. 141 personnel in 55 vehicles, arriving at the scene soon, worked hard and extinguished the blaze. Flame Eagle, which is a fire extinguishing  and rescuing helicopter, did a good job by applying water downwards from air. While the fire resulted in great damage to the warehouse, no one was injured or dead.
