The scouts of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and other scouts from 9 countries/52 cities marked the 101th anniversary of the Ground Battle of Çanakkale with various activities. Over five thousand scouts in total participated in Çanakkale National Awareness Event. 30 personnel and 13 vehicles from Istanbul Fire Department arrived at the campsite on April 19th. 2016. On the way to the camp, the convoy memorialized the ancestors in Çanakkale Martyrs' Memorial. The firefighters gave training to the scouts during the event.
