A fire broke out at junk on the fourth floor of a six-storey building on Mehmetçik Street in Yavuz Selim Neighbourhood, Esenler. The Fire Department was called and fire crews from Bayrampaşa and Davutpaşa stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze and evacuated 58 people. 3 people affected by smoke were taken to hospital by paramedics.
