A fire broke out in a wooden building on Yıldırım Road in Balat Neighbourhood, Fatih. The Fire Department was called at 11:40 and fire crews from Fatih, Balat, Şişli, Bakırköy, Başakşehir, Alibeyköy, Seyrantepe, Beyoğlu, Sadabat, Mecidiyeköy, Gaziosmanpaşa, Bağcılar, Bayrampaşa and Kocamustafapaşa stations attended the incident. 99 firefighters in 34 fire engines, arriving at the scene soon, worked hard and extinguished the blaze. While the fire resulted in damage to the wooden building, no one was injured or dead.
