A fire broke out in a woody and grassy area on Rıfat Ilgaz Road in Istasyon Neighbourhood, Küçükçekmece. The Fire Department was called at 14:04 and fire crews from Sefaköy and Yenimahalle stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon along with the fire helicopter of the Department, extinguished the blaze. The helicopter gave great support in air to bring the fire under control. While the fire resulted in damage to the area, no one was injured or dead.
