A fire broke out in the third-floor workplace of a three-storey building on Firuzköy Boulevard in Üniversite Neighbourhood, Avcılar. The Fire Department was called at 09:38 and fire crews from Avcılar, Beylikdüzü and Esenyurt stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, worked hard and extinguished the blaze. While the fire resulted in damage to the workplace, no one was injured or dead.
