A fire broke out in a forested area on the way to the forest in Ballıca Neighbourhood, Pendik. The Fire Department was called at 11:54 and fire crews from Yenişehir, Kurtköy and OSB stations attended the incident. Also forest crews and a helicopter from the Department of Forestry responded to the fire. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, worked meticulously and extinguished the blaze. The fire resulted in damage to the forested area.
