A fire broke out in a grassy woodland next to the Ortadağ Cemetery in Fatih Neighbourhood, Sancaktepe. The Fire Department was called at 14:43 and fire crews from Büyükbakkalköy, Yakacık and Kartal stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon along with the Flame Eagle and forest crews, worked meticulously and extinguished the blaze without allowing it to spread.
