Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality sent a crew as flood relief to Skopje, the capital city of Macedonia. A 32-person emergency crew and 14 vehicles were dispatched to the scene of the flood which had hit the capital city and killed 20 people. With the instruction of Mr Kadir TOPBAŞ, the Mayor of the Istanbul City, six water-evacuating vehicles and one maintenance vehicle from Istanbul Fire Department, one multi-functional vehicle from İSKİ Inc.,which is the water-company of the municipality, one trailer kiosk, one 9-tonne pressurized vehicle and 5 washing vehicles from İstaç Inc., which is the waste-management company of the municipality, and 32 personnel set out to Skopje from the Disaster Coordination Center (AKOM).
