A fire broke out in a large woodland on the way to Yassıören, in the Hadımköy Neighbourhood, Arnavutköy. The Fire Department was called at 15:15 and fire crews from Hadımköy, Arnavutköy, Çatalca, Bahçeşehir and Kıraç stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon along with the Flame Eagle - which applied 41580 litres of lake water by flying for two hours and fifteen minutes, worked hard and brought the blaze under control. The fire resulted in damage to the forest.
