A fire broke out in moorlands in the vicinity of Dursunköy in Arnavutköy. The Fire Department was called at 13:28 and fire crews from Arnavutköy and Germe stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon along with the Flame Eagle - the fire response helicopter- which gave support in the air, extinguished the blaze. While the fire resulted in damage to the moorlands, no one was injured or dead.
