A fire broke out in a car in the vicinity of Kavacık, on a slip road to the TEM (Trans-European Motorway) in Kartal. The Fire Department was called at 15:47 and firefighters from Yakacık station attended the incident. The fire crew, arriving at the scene soon, extinguished the blaze. While the fire resulted in damage to the car, no one was injured or dead.
