A fire broke out in a forested land in the vicinity of Çamlık Gölet in Elbasan Neighbourhood, Çatalca. The Fire Department was called at 14:20 and fire crews from Çatalca, Mimarsinan, Silivri, Hadımköy and Başakşehir station attended the incident. The Flame Eagle, which is the fire response helicopter of the Department, making 7 loadings, applied 42.385 litres of lake water and carried out 14 sorties. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, worked hard together with the fire helicopter and extinguished the blaze. The fire resulted in damage to the forested area.
