A fire broke out in the fourth-floor flat of a four-storey building on Emek Street in Atatürk Neighbourhood, Küçükçekmece. The Fire Department was called at 12:54 and fire crews from Kocasinan and Sefaköy stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, worked meticulously and extinguished the blaze. Twelve people trapped on upper floors were rescued and delivered over to paramedics. While the fire resulted in damage to the flat, no one was injured or dead.
