A pile-up occurred on Büyükdere Road in Darüşşafaka Neighbourhood, Sarıyer due to a concrete mixer truck crashing into five vehicles. The Fire Department was called at 10:49 and crews from İstinye, Hacıosman and Seyrantepe stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, rescued five people from the damaged vehicles and delivered them over to paramedics. The road accident resulted in one death and five injuries.
