A fire broke out on the roof of a six-storey building on Körfez Street in Kavakpınar Neighbourhood, Pendik. The Fire Department was called at 01:40 and fire crews from Pendik, Tuzla, Kurtköy, Orhanlı, Yakacık and Yayla stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, worked hard and extinguished the blaze. While the fire resulted in damage to the roof, no one was injured or dead.
