The Istanbul Fire Department conducted a three-day "fire and safety" training course at Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Labour and Employment Agency. Within this scope, employees from the agency were trained from 18-21 November 2016. The lessons carried out in the training were as follows:

• Fire structure and development, knowledge of LPG and natural gas, hazards on scenes (on the first day)
• Extinguishing agents and usage techniques, fire safety precautions (on the second day)
• Organising an emergency response team (on the third day)

The training ended with fire drills on the last day of the training course.
