A fire broke out in the 7th-floor flat of a 17-storey building on 2064th Street in Piri Reis Neighbourhood, Esenyurt. The Fire Department was called at 17:19 and fire crews from Esenyurt, Beylikdüzü, Avcılar and Beykent stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, worked hard and extinguished the blaze. While no one was dead, a person affected by smoke was taken to hospital by paramedics.
