A fire & rescue drill was carried out in the new building of Halkalı Customs Office of Istanbul Regional Directorate of Ministry of Customs and Trade. According to the scenario of the joint drill conducted on Güzide Stret in Muratbey Neighbourhood, Çatalca, the Fire Brigade was called at 11:14 and firefighters from Çatalca station attended the incident. The fire crew, arriving at the scene soon, worked to extinguish and rescue. They evacuated a man trapped in the building and took him to a safe zone. Then they delivered him over to paramedics. The drill which the staff of the Customs Office watched with interest was completed successfully.
