A fire broke out in a factory on Yetkin Street, Üniversite Road in Orta Neighbourhood, Tuzla. The Fire Department was called at 15:49 and fire crews from Tuzla OSB, Orhanlı, Tuzla, Sultanbeyli, Kurtköy, Kartal, Ümraniye, Kadıköy, Bakkalköy, Kayışdağı, Çavuşbaşı, Seyrantepe and Bakırköy stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon along with Flame Eagle, the fire helicopter, worked hard. 7 water tenders from İSKİ and district municipalities were dispatched to the fireground. All the crews worked meticulously and brought the blaze under the control. While the fire resulted in damage to the factory, no one was injured or dead.
