A fire broke out on the fifth floor of a five-storey hotel on Valide Camii Street in Aksaray Neighbourhood, Fatih. The Fire Department was called at 16:28 and fire crews from Fatih and Kocamustafapaşa stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, worked hard and extinguished the blaze. They rescued two people trapped on upper floors. The affected people were taken to hospital by the paramedics. While the fire resulted in damage to the hotel, no one was injured or dead.
