A fire broke out in the generator room of the pediatric critical care department of Şişli Hamidiye Etfal Training and Research Hospital. The Fire Department was called at 11:31 and fire crews from Beyoğlu and Mecidiyeköy stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, worked hard and extinguished the blaze. While 15 people were evacuated, no one was injured or dead.
