The employees from the directorates of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and various industrial enterprises received a three-day "fire and safety" training course in the Firefighters' Training Center and Resneli Training Facilities. Within this scope, the workers were trained from 23 January 2017 to 25 January 2017. The lessons carried out in the training were as follows:

• Fire structure and development, knowledge of LPG and natural gas, hazards on scenes (on the first day)
• Extinguishing agents and usage techniques, fire safety precautions (on the second day)
• Organising an emergency response team, and awareness activity in the mobile training vehicles (on the third day)

The training ended with “search & rescue in fires” and “fire” drills on the last day of the training course.
