A fire broke out in the first-floor flat of a five-storey building on Tatlıpınar Road in Çapa Neighbourhood, Fatih. The Fire Department was called at 10:14 and fire crews from Fatih and Kocamustafapaşa stations attended the incident. The firefighters, arriving at the scene soon, worked hard and extinguished the blaze. Five people trapped on upper floors were rescued by the fire crews and one person affected by smoke was taken to hospital. While the fire resulted in damage to the flat, no one was injured or dead.
